Try again in winter

On the 1 hand, with played Vanilla before it became wow gold classic, I must laugh in the bot scourge. Bots were a scourge back too, but my nostalgia needs I claim it was since Blizzard was underfunded, as it'd just been a year or two since the launch of WoW and their most profitable years were still ahead of them. I have fond memories of the neighborhood bot threads on pvp servers, where ally and horde would go to report individuals they saw botting so as to put hits on these people that the other faction would take. Truly, the very first cross-faction collaboration to ever happen on pvp servers was the communal effort to fuck over bots. So, really, it is the WOW Classic experience to need to deal with botting.

But, on the other hand, it stinks that they refuse to answer this properly now that they absolutely have the tools, expertise, and cash to fund the steps to stop the bots. Also, with bots having shown they were so rewarding on live, it's obvious that botting in WOW Classic would also be an issue. So it is disgraceful that they would even think about allowing it to get so bad.

Honestly, part of me always felt, in retrospect, WOW Classic could wind up being an obvious money grab by a depraved firm without maintenance for the consumer experience, however I still had hope that they would somehow do it correctly. But no, they are doing absolutely nothing to stop the many different items that are plaguing it. Probably hiding behind the defense of"#no varies" while they do it, too.

This was new to me. Interesting things. The N'Zoth growth was so boring--only endless milling and lore that made no sense to me, and my efforts to catch up to this lore by reading online just made me more and more confounded. So I finally just quit playing. It is a shame, since parts of WOW Classic were very fun and well executed, but it appears the expansion packs just get worse and worse. I suppose it is hard to keep imaginative energy for 20 years around precisely the exact same world, particularly when you need to focus the narrative on tensions and raised bets for gameplay, but Blizzard has done an awful job of it IMO.

Try again in winter. There's a totally new expansion (not just a patch like Visions of N'zoth) coming out that may be a good deal better. Fight For Azeroth was a huge bumblefuck. Problem was, these patches had nothing to build off of buy classic gold wow. What's more, Blizzard was not only working on those spots, they were anticipating the next expansion, Shadowlands, which as I said is currently slated for sometime between now and December 31st.
